Scouting offers a huge range of activities and events. These range from Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI) and Jamboree on the Air (JOTA), both popular activities with an international dimension, to traditional Scout pioneering and map and compass skills. Areas of activities include; Air, Land, Water, Technology, Creative and Nights Away.

Scouting started in 1907, with an experimental camp on Brownsea Island in the UK for 20 boys from a wide variety of social backgrounds.
Today, Scouting is a million times bigger than when it first started. It involves girls and boys, men and women from every race, religion and culture, and nearly every country in the world.

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a voluntary, non-competitive programme of practical, cultural and adventurous activities, designed to support the personal and social development of young people aged 14-25, regardless of gender, background or ability.
