10th. Airedale Scout Group win the District Swimming Gala

Thanks to everyone who was able to support the District (all Sections) Swimming Gala at Aireborough Leisure Centre, Guiseley and congratulations to the winners 10th. Airedale Scout Group.

Supporting the twenty four event Gala were eight Scout Groups and Explorers:

Adel Methodists, Cookridge Methodist, Cookridge Village, Holy Name, 7th. Airedale, 9th. Airedale, 10th. Airedale and 14th. Airedale who were last years winners of the Gwyllam "Taff" Walker trophy.

Some enthusiastic swimming and vocal support from the pool-side and spectators ensured an evening of fun in the pool.

Gwyllan "Taff" Walker Trophy - 10th. Airedale Scout Group

Runner's-up: Cookridge Methodist Scout Group

Joint Third place: 9th. Airedale and 14th. Airedale Scout Groups.

Scout Section Trophy - 10th. Airedale Scout Troop

Runner's-up: 14th. Airedale Scout Troop

Third place: Cookridge Methodist Scout Troop

Cub Scout Section Trophy - 10th. Airedale (Thursday) Pack

Runner's-up: Cookridge Methodist Cub Pack

Joint Third place: 7th. Airedale and 9th. Airedale Cub Packs

Beaver Scout Scetion Trophy - 9th. Airedale Beaver Colony

Runner's-up: Holy Name Beaver Colony

Third place: Cookridge Methodist Beaver Colony
