D of E Service RequirementsPlease note that Training is a requirement of the D of E Scheme when a Young Person is undertaking their 'Service' element within a Scout Section. Bronze: Module A + 2 other Module Silver: Module A + 3 other Modules Gold: Module + 5 other Modules If you are signing off D of E books please bear this in mind - the Young Person needs to have fulfilled ALL the requirements. It is important that the Young Leaders do this training as it will help them to fully understand and participate in Scouting whilst they are with you. Insurance: the D of E young person is only insured under their 'operating authority' for the duration of the 'service' element. If they wish to remain after this you will need to encourage them to join Explorers. |
