Aldwark is Yorkshire's premier Water Activity and Outdoor Education Centre; offering a range of water activities by highly qualified instructors. Owned and managed by Central Yorkshire Scout Council, Aldwark regularly welcomes parties from schools and youth organisations.

On site activities include:

Canoeing , Kayaking, Pioneering,Power boats, Raft Building, Sailing, Giant Chess/Draughts

We are proud that Aldwark is a centre of training excellence with frequently assessed, highly qualified instructors providing quality tuition for water activities

Open every weekend from April to October, resident Duty Managers supervise the centre and our crew provides safety cover for those venturing onto the water.

Aldwark can provide a substantial range of kayaks, canoes and sailing craft in a safe environment for a fun learning experience ranging from a weekend stay to a week or longer. Aldwark is ideal for water-based activities and residential training courses, or as a base for other activities.

Accomodation is by advance booking only. The centre is equiped with facilities for washing, showering and camping.
