You will all have seen the exciting news that Scouts are piloting provision for 4 and 5 year olds.

We will all have different views on how this might work along with the opportunities and challenges that it will present and of course this is exactly the purpose of a pilot.

It is a really exciting step forward for our organisation and the young people of Central Yorkshire.

Good Service Awards Nominations and approvals

The awards process has been simplified, making it easier for anyone to nominate an adult member for a Good Service Award.

The majority of Good Service Awards are now approved locally by your Commissioners, with the decision passing to HQ for processing.  Local Awards Advisory Groups can be created locally to support the decision making.

All nominations need to be passed to your local commissioner or local Awards Advisory Group for consideration; if you're unaware who they are, please contact the Info Centre.

Full information can be found here.
