Hillwalking – The Lakes Weekend

The annual hillwalking training and/or assessment weekend will be held in The Lakes 14th – 15th November, based in Keswick.
The weekend will cover such things as group management, navigation, safety, equipment and security on steep ground (which is required for a Terrain Two hillwalking permit).
It is a great opportunity to get out onto the Lakeland fells. An evening meal is held at the Keswick YHA, which gives the opportunity to socialise, and discuss all things hillwalking.
There is no charge for the training or assessment.
