Leeds Pride 2023

Date: 6th August 2023 Location: Leeds City Centre

LEEDS PRIDE

Meeting information:

Meeting at 13:00 at The Leeds War Memorial on The Headrow (near Leeds Art Gallery)

Please wear your NECKER for easy identification.

We will then be moving to our parade walking location (Great George Street) at the formation time.

The PARADE starts at 14:15 and follows the traditional route to Lower Briggate where bag searches will take place by security (please try not to bring anything unnecessary)

There are 176 individual walking groups (largest parade ever) and it’s essential that groups can always keep less than 5m space between each party to prevent large gaps being created.

This will involve walking briskly at times!!

Once the parade is complete there will be exits available to those who do not wish to enter the crowded event space and recommend you follow the signage on the day.

This is going to be an incredible day with the largest parade ever seen in Leeds and hopefully we can raise awareness of LGBTQ+ in Scouting.
