Beaver Scouts (6-8 years)

Boys and girls can join the younger sections of Scouting, Beaver Scouts, from 3 months leading up to their 6th birthday until they are 8 years old.

Beaver scout activities are based around making things, outdoor activities, singing, playing games, going on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how to be and stay safe and most importantly making friends.

They often work as part of a team and belong to a ‘Lodge’ within their ‘Colony’ working together to complete challenges.

They have opportunities to take part in larger events with other Colonies across their District and County. These can include fun activity days, celebrations and camps. To find out more about each challenge badge click here
