Squirrel Scouts (4-6)

Boys and girls can join the youngest section in Scouting, Squirrel Scouts, from 4 years old  until they are 6 years old.

Squirrels can achieve anything they set their minds to – and they have lots of fun along the way.

Squirrel Scout activities are based around making things, outdoor activities, singing, playing games, going on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how to be and stay safe and most importantly making friends.

Often, they will work as part of a team and belonging to a ‘Drey’ working together to complete challenges.

They have opportunities to take part in the larger events with other Dreys across their Districts and County. These can include fun activity days, celebrations and camps. To find out more about each challenge badge, click here
