Spotlight on 2nd Morsley (East Ardsley) Beavers

The Pears team have been working hard over the past few months to bring Scouting to even more young people in Central Yorkshire.

After a successful open event, followed by four weeks of taster sessions, a brand new Beaver Colony in South Leeds & Morley is up and running. 20 Beavers where invested into 2nd Morley (East Ardsley) and have already earned numerous activity badges.

Congratulations to the two new brilliant leaders that have stepped up to the challenge of running the group and are now thriving in their roles as Beaver Leaders.

Over in North Leeds, Scotland Wood have several adults who are taking the next steps to becoming Leaders.  Recently the Beavers enjoyed a trip to Pets At Home – they got to meet some animals and learn all about Guinea Pigs before going on a treasure hunt of the store. The Cubs have been working hard on their Global Issues badge focusing and learning all about recycling.

Keep an eye out for exciting announcements for new groups in Middleton, Little London, Harehills and Wakefield!
