Nights Away Permits

Do you want to take the young people within your section on a Nights Away? whether it is indoors, campsite or on a green field…….?

If you do then everyone who leads a nights away event for young people within Scouting is required to hold a Nights Away Permit for the type of event they are running.

Within Central Yorkshire we have 2 opportunities to help you achieve your goal…

1) Sunday 24th March 2019 at 1st Pontefract Scout Headquarters – the administration side of organising a Nights Away event

2) Saturday 13th – Sunday 14th April 2019 at Bramhope – the practical side of organising an event, learning the skills you need….

If you want to attend either event please book your place at https://bookwhen.com/cycscoutstraining

Limited spaces are available……on 27th February we have increased the number of places for the practical course due to high demand…..to avoid disappointment please book asap.  Bookings close 7 days prior to each opportunity or when the course is full.

If you have any questions please get in touch with Alison Fell, County Training Manager at alison.fell@cycscouts.org.uk or John Smallwood, Supporter Nights Away Permit Scheme at john.smallwood@cycscouts.org.uk

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
