Bramhope Vacancies

Volunteering with us means you’ll have the chance to make a real difference, we couldn’t provide the amazing experiences that we do for young people without the help of our amazing family of volunteers. Whether you’re an active member of the Scout Movement and would like to help support Bramhope Campsite or completely new to Scouting, we welcome volunteers from every background, culture and nationality.

Developing our people

Volunteering with us is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge and CV. We offer opportunities that will help you to develop skills that can be used in the workplace and elsewhere, whether it’s practical training in areas such as running activities, first aid and customer service, or more hands-on experience in areas such as team work, project management and working with young people.

With a wide range of exciting and challenging roles available at our centre, there’s something to suit everyone whether you’re an experienced leader or outdoor professional or completely new to Scouting.

Development is an important part of what we do and all of our staff and volunteers are fully trained and supported during their time with us.

There are opportunities not only to gain general skills and experience, but many of our volunteers also have the opportunity to receive in-house training to be a volunteer instructor on our activities. Some of our activities require National Governing Body (NGBs) qualifications and volunteers with interest in these activities may have the opportunities to work towards gain their NGBs. If you already hold a NGBs in an activity why not think of volunteering with us.

Developing young people

Most importantly, you will be helping young people develop important life skills that they will remember for the rest of their lives. Have you got a childhood memory of a great summer camp or adventurous experience where you really pushed your own limits, conquered a fear or tried something new? These take place at our centres every day and the whole team makes it happen, whatever role they are in.

Join the Family

The chance to make friends and be part of a successful team in a fun and adventurous environment is a great reason to be part of our family.
