26th World Scout Jamboree – Poland 2027 – Participant Applications
A World Scout Jamboree is an event for young people aged between 14 and 18. It is a gathering of Scouts and Guides from all over the world for an exciting programme of global development, peace, cultural understanding, adventure, fun and friendship.
The 26th World Scout Jamboree Site is located on Wyspa Sobieszewska within the borders of the city of Gdańsk, on the coast of the Baltic Sea in northern Poland.
The 26th World Scout Jamboree will take place from the 30 July to the 8 August 2027. To participate as a Youth Participant, individuals must be between 14 and 17 years old at the time of the event. This means they should have been born between 30 July 2009 and 30 July 2013.
Central Yorkshire Scouts is now opening applications for Young People to apply for selection for our Unit at the 26th World Scout Jamboree. Applications are open from now and will close on the 31 July 2025.
If we receive a large number of applications, we will ask all applicants to attend an interview, and then choose who to invite to the Selection Weekend. If we get a smaller number of applications, we will invite all applicants to the Selection Weekend. The Selection Weekend is on the 10-12 October 2025 at Bramhope Scout Campsite.
