County Expedition Group

The County Expedition Group exists to deliver Duke of Edinburgh & Scouts Top Awards expeditions for young people in Central Yorkshire and can be contacted at expeditions@cycscouts.org.uk

For Young People

The County Expedition Group is open to all young people (including Scout Network) in Central Yorkshire and in particular young people who do not have access to an expedition team in their own Unit/District. The Group supports expeditions at all levels of the Duke of Edinburgh Award and Scouts’ Top Awards.

To register an interest in completing an expedition with the County Expedition Group, please complete the Register Your Interest Form accessed via the link or QR Code below. We will then get in touch with you to discuss your needs further.

Opportunities for Adult Volunteers

If you would be interested in being an adult volunteer with the County Expedition Group, please complete the registration form below – there are opportunities to be Expedition Assessors, Expedition Supervisors, Expedition Support, Expedition Training, Quartermaster and/or Expedition Group Admin.  Individuals can have more than one role in the group and the time commitment is flexible, based on how much time you want to give to the Group.
