4pm – 5pm Scouts and Explorers
Brownlee Centre, Leeds
The event is open to all Scouts and Explorers across the County. There are a limited number of bikes/helmets available to borrow.
It is hoped that families and friends will also attend the event, to spectate and provide support.

Details
Parking for the event is at the Brownlee centre.
A Leader MUST accompany the young people to assist in supervising during the event.
Teams will comprise of up to 4 young people. The event will run as a relay, with each team mate riding 1 lap then handing over to the next. Family/friends will not be allowed onto the track, they will be able to view from the centre/bridge/footpaths.
All young people will need to register with their group leader/organiser when they arrive.
Wear/Bring
Young people can ride any bike in good working order, provided it has brakes and is deemed safe, please,as leaders, check your young peoples bikes as they arrive. Riders will be allowed to use clip in pedals.
Helmets are compulsory for all riders.
Clothing should be comfortable and suitable for outdoor activities, full uniform is not required but neckers should be worn.
Water bottles are recommended, as is a lightweight waterproof coat.
Cost is £3 per person. A register will be compiled on the day and District advised of numbers.
Groups will be sent an invoice upon registration with details for payment.
