Hillwalking Foundation Day

The County Hillwalking Team are holding a Foundation Day at The Lodge, Bramhope Campsite and Activity Centre, on Saturday 3 October.
The day will include both theory and practical instruction on skills such as navigation (map/compass), safety, emergency procedures, risk assessment, group leadership, group and personal equipment and land access.
The day is recommended for those wishing to gain a Terrain One or Terrain Two hillwalking permit and also for those wishing to up-skill to lead young people in Terrain Zero.
There is no charge for the event.
