Come Try Rock Climbing
On the weekend 24/25th September the climbing team are putting on a weekend of climbing at Almscliffe Crag. We are taking bookings straight away for parties of twelve Scouts for an hour and a half session over the weekend (no experience necessary) first come and paid first served. We will be starting at 9.30 both days and finishing at 4.30
You will need to bring with you
Warm and waterproof clothes (it may be a warm day but it is draughty up there)
Sun protection hat and sunscreen
Food and drink
Suitable footwear (the approach can be muddy) so a change of footwear for climbing

Cost £3.00 per person – Please pay by cheque before the event
We will be on the crag all day so you will need to meet us on the right hand side of the crag at your allotted time. When approaching the crag you MUST follow the country code cross the walls in the allotted places stick to the footpaths provided DO NOT wander across any fields or inter fear with any livestock or other climbers. Access to the crags depends on the goodwill of the farmer any grievances will be reported to the British Mountaineering Club via their access officer who meets regularly with the farmer and can result in the crag being band from use
