All are welcome to attend but only Council members may vote. Membership of the Council is given in POR 5.16 e (ii); please contact me if any clarification of the list is needed.

As this is the first face-to-face meeting for 3 years, it would help if members could indicate their intention to attend via this link:  Central Yorkshire County Scout Council 2022 AGM  attendance  This will enable an appropriate number of documents to be printed.

The Annual Report and Accounts together with other documents will be uploaded to the County website at least a week beforehand..  If there is a need for a vote for membership of the Executive Committee then this will be done electronically in advance of the meeting

The Secretary and Treasurer are willing to stand for re-election. Additional nominations can of course be made for both positions.

Nominations for the election of members of the County Scout Council to serve on the County Executive Committee are invited. The Constitution provides for the election of eight members, each to serve for a period of two years. This year there are four places available for a two-year term. Nominations should be made on the form that can be found at: AGM-Executive-Nomination-2022 and returned to me by Tuesday 13th September 2022. I am happy to receive nomination forms by email. Nominations may be made and seconded by any adult member of any Scout Council in the County however only persons who are members of the County Scout Council are eligible to be nominated. Any non-Council member interested in joining the Executive Committee should contact me or the County Chair david.grindrod@cycscouts.org.uk org. There are some restrictions on being a trustee and hence on Executive Committee membership. These restrictions are given in POR rule 13.1.

Members wishing to stand for election should be aware that the Executive Committee normally meets up to 5 times a year on Monday evenings. Meetings are held in the County Office, Crossgates, Leeds, LS15 8QR or online using Microsoft Teams.  Many members further support the County by participating in sub-committees or assisting with projects.
